Such a phonetically pleasing word but a bugger to spell.

Chrysalis is the name of the www.screendeep.co.uk project I’m developing with oral historians www.on-the-record.org.uk, commissioned by UCLH Arts & Heritage

As old buildings close and new ones are built how do people’s experiences transform? Through interviews and encounters, we document the work of staff and the memories of patients from the Royal Ear Hospital, Royal National Ear Nose Throat Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital.

This will lead us to create a collaborative artwork installed in the new site in 2019. We’re at the start of this journey. The project has a blog where our research is held and we ask for donations of stories, objects and everything in between.
